Thank you, Nancy! Yes, mom and I had our turbulent moments when I was a teenager, but once I was married and had my first child, we were not only mother and daughter, but we became equals, and each other's best friend. Mom lived three months longer than what she was told, I felt like God had given us that extra time, and that it was an honor bestowed upon me that I was able to be there every day for her. Even after her passing 43 years ago, a day doesn't go by that I don't miss her. 💔
